Immune Boosting Shot Drinks

Immune Boosting Shot Drinks

You’re going to be on the go this summer no doubt. With all the barbeques, parties, vacations, and summer leagues right around the corner, the last thing you need is to be down for the count with the flu or a cold. With Immune System booster shots you’ll be good to go all summer long, free to enjoy everything this amazing season has to offer. Immune system boosters are good for you because they help to strengthen your immune system, which can keep you from getting sick. There is a good chance that you’ll be on a plane, train or automobile with someone who has that pesky summer cold or virus. A strong immune system can mean shorter recovery times if you happen to get sick. So what are some of the things in these immune booster shots that will have you feeling right and ready to go?

Ingredients

Probiotics like lactobacillus have been shown to help boost the immunity system. Russian Choice Immune is an extract made from freeze-dried lactobacillus that has immune modulating effects. The product has been shown to improve immune function in people exposed to high doses of radiation.

NAC (N-acetylcysteine) is another example. This amino acid is a powerful antioxidant that has been shown to enhance immune function, enhance respiratory tract function , and assist detoxification by the liver. Melatonin, on the other hand, can help improve jet lag if traveling in other regions besides the West since it is helpful in regulating the body’s internal clock. Higher doses can be taken to combat insomnia.

Recipes

immune boosting shots can help build up vitamins and minerals in the body to fight colds. All you need is to do is add warm water to a large glass bowl or measuring cup. Next, add honey and mix with a whisk until dissolved, then add grated ginger and apple cider vinegar along and use a hand-held citrus juicer to squeeze in lemon juice. Sprinkle in turmeric and black pepper and adjust the honey to taste. This recipe makes 4 shots. The ingredients used are Raw Manuka Honey, Turmeric, Black Pepper, Organic Ginger Root, Organic Apple Cider Vinegar, and Fresh Lemons.

Elderberry, Pomegranate, and Apple Cider Vinegar Spritzer is another booster. You can make this with the following ingredients: 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar, 1 tablespoon elderberry syrup, 1/3 cup pure pomegranate juice, and sparkling water and lemon to garnish. In a small sauce pot, bring vinegar, syrup, and pomegranate juice to a soft simmer and add in the honey. It can be served warmed or chilled.
