A Letter From Bari Rooney, Phd
Spa Gregorie's Nutritionist

Spa Gregorie's Bari Rooney, PhdDear Spa Gregorie's Enthusiasts,

I am very excited to be a part of the “Wellness Team” at Spa Gregorie's.  This is a great opportunity to reach out and help more people in the Orange County area.  As the nutritionist and exercise physiologist I am looking forward to helping clients reach their personal head-to- toe wellness goals.  Nutrition is the foundation for our health and if we are not eating well our health will suffer both now and later.  Everyone can benefit from nutrition counseling whether they are facing illness or training for a triathlon.

In my private practice I see clients with a variety of ailments.  Many of these clients have cancer, GI disorders, auto-immune diseases, food allergies, lifestyle diseases, or weight loss issues.  I also see children who require nutritional assistance.  I work with each individual and create lifestyle plans that are comprehensive, yet easy to follow.  I try to avoid using the word “Diet” because it implies a temporary state instead of a lifestyle change.

Nutritional Head Start
5 Basic Tips

  • Drink at least 8 full glasses of water daily.
  • Eat 6 small meals daily to keep your metabolism high and blood sugars balanced.
  • Try to avoid processed foods and fast foods made with unnecessary preservatives.
  • Try to avoid non-nutritious foods such as white flours and white sugars.
  • Eat 5-7 (or more) fresh fruits and vegetables daily.

I can’t wait to help get you on the path to proper nutrition and see you reap all of the fantastic health benefits.

Sincerely,

Bari Rooney, PhD
