Positive Thinking and Your Health

Positive Thinking and Your Health

Being positive can have a huge impact on your life, and can make you feel so much better. Many of us live a life full of rush and haste, causing us to despise waking up and going to work. A quick shift in your mindset can make you feel so much better and get you excited for the day!

How is Positivity Connected to Your Health?

A medical connection between your positivity and your health is still not direct, but there is definitely a strong link between your positivity and your health! Being positive and hopeful has been shown to help people make better health and life decisions and to focus on their long term achievements, resulting in a better life filled with more happiness. Because of this, being positive can help your health and wellbeing drastically. A study done by a research team at Johns Hopkins shows that people with a family history of heart disease were one-third less likely to have a heart attack within five to 25 years when they had a positive outlook on life. They were one-third less likely than those with a negative outlook, further proving the importance and health benefits of positivity. Furthermore, people who had a positive outlook improved their outcomes regarding those with brain injury, stroke, and brain tumors.

What Can You Do to Boost Your Positivity?

Clearly, having a positive outlook on life can help improve your life and health, so what can you do to boost your positivity? Firstly, you can just smile more. Smiling has been proven to reduce heart rate and blood pressure. You should also try to wake up with a sense of gratitude. Being grateful will make you happier and provide a better start to your day. View every day as a brand new day! Be resilient and look at each day as a chance to start something new. You should meditate or pray daily as it helps keep our focus and calms us down, helping us start each day well! You should also read and exercise daily as both help with cognitive function and overall happiness. Getting fresh air every day is also great as it boosts creativity and vitality. Lastly, you should practice being in the moment. This allows you to focus on what is important and not increase stress and worry in our lives. So, by doing all of these things in a day, it will boost your positivity which helps improve your health and wellbeing!

Be Positive And Live a Better Life!

Being positive is a great way to improve your health and wellbeing. By making some tweaks in your everyday life, you can live a healthier, happier life, filled with fulfillment and free of worry!
