I have attended the Spa Gregorie’s Knit-a-thon event for 4 or 5 years now. It’s so much fun meeting the other volunteers and seeing their creations and winning prizes and hearing all your compliments for all of us. Spa Gregorie’s and Kathy Leek (the event organizer) have really made me feel appreciated and valued! I have come to learn that volunteers are the nicest people. The ones I meet who knit and crochet are creative, funny, warm and down-to-earth. Whoever I talk with at the various Knit-a-thons have interesting stories, thoughts and ideas to share. I am so glad Spa Gregorie’s has created this opportunity for women in the community to get together, develop friendships and support a great cause. I am so glad I spoke with Kathy at the Orange County Race for the Cure so many years ago and started coming to the Knit-a-thon. It is something I always look forward to attending year after year. Thank you again!
