Suzanne Harris, L.Ac., M.S.
Acupuncture, AromaTherapist, and Massage Therapist
Suzanne found her calling in Life as a healer. Her happiness comes from helping others watch the unfolding of their renewed and revitalized lives through Chinese Medicine. She is a California state-licensed acupuncturist with a Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and a BA in psychology and is a certified holistic health practitioner. Although she has spent much time in school she also has 16 years of experience in massage therapy working one on one with patients of all ages.
Her compassion and gentle energy are palpable when you meet her. As an acupuncturist her focus is on balancing the entire body, the mind, spirit and emotions. This includes treating injuries and internal ailments from both acute and chronic pain, the flu and allergies to chronic fatigue, infertility and facial rejuvenation. She practices with positive intention and is an excellent educator for her patients. She believes passionately in Eastern Medicine and the art of reshaping the "inner body". Ask her about how energy flows through us in what is known as "meridians" or "channels"; and how this energy can physically become stagnant causing a multitude of physical symptoms.
She believes, "Chinese Medicine and acupuncture involves so much more than the average American realizes; its goal is to find the root of the problem instead of treating only the symptoms of a condition. It sometimes takes a bit longer to locate the cause of a symptom; medical tests can reveal the damage already done whereas Chinese Medicine 'listens to' what the organs are trying to say well before any damage may occur. This manipulation of the energy centers of the body is the secret to permanent and true healing.”
