Spa Gregorie's 5 Things to Know about Maternity Massage                         1.  Make sure your therapist is certified in maternity massage.                           2.  Avoid certain essential oils that are contraindicated for pregnant women such as clary sage.                                                                                                   3.  Avoid massaging certain areas associated with the womb and uterus such as parts of the feet and ankles.                                                                        4.  Maternity massage should only be performed while laying on the side. 5.  Do not go in a steam room, jacuzzi, or hot bath.
