1.  Make sure your therapist is certified in maternity massage. (All of our therapists that perform Maternity Massage are certified)
2.  Avoid certain essential oils that are contraindicated for pregnant women such as clary sage.

3.  Avoid massaging certain areas associated with the womb and uterus such as parts of the feet and ankles.

4.  Maternity massage should only be performed while lying on the side.

5.  Do not go in a steam room, Jacuzzi, or hot bath.
