Jeanette M. Topinio

Mom's name: Jeanette M. Topinio
Momination: My mom is my Hero, besides being my mother she is my best friend. What can I say but she is a awesome woman with a heart filled with so much love and it shows and she is a young 76 year old.! I wanted to enter my mother to show everyone how special she is and what she means to our family. This past year has taken a toll on my mother physically, mentally and spiritually. In October of 07 my eldest sister passed away for CFG and my mom was heartbroken, then in Dec. 07 my father passed away the love of her life of 65+ years and again she was heartbroken, and then in Feb. of 08 my younger brother passed away of unknown reasons and once again my mother was heartbroken. But through it all she has stayed strong for the family despite her loss of her loved ones. She continued to work as a Nurse and taking care of others, but now has taken sometime off to heal! She continues to take care of her family and put everyone else before her. So this Mother's Day I would like to treat her to a special day of her own, and she stated how much she would like a day at a spa and a make-over. So if you knew my mom I know you too would lover her as much as we do! So I hope that you will choose my mom...because she is a winner already. And without her, there is no us!! Thank you - Letitia Bustamante

Hanh Nguyen

Mom's name: Hanh Nguyen
Momination: To us, our mother is the perfect personification of love. Her love for us began way before we were even born. During the Vietnam War she traveled from Vietnam to an Indonesian refugee camp before settling in America. She made a lot of sacrifices during this time, giving up her first born daughter for adoption to an acquaintance in Germany so that her daughter would have a chance to survive during the war years and separating from her immediate family who decided to travel to Australia. Her reason? So that her future children would be able to have opportunities she could never have dreamed of. Today, she continues to take care of me, my brother, my sister, and my father, who is handicapped. After completing only up to the 4th grade and having no fluency in the English language, my mother has been working in a fast food restaurant ever since I could remember. With her arthritic joints, she continues to wake up every morning at five so that she could get to work and earn the only income the family relies on to survive. While we grew up, she did the double duty of going to work and completing the household chores (groceries, cooking, laundry, cleaning) so that my siblings and I would be able to concentrate on our education. Her efforts paid off once we all graduated from the University of California, Irvine with our degrees. But even after all this, she continues to work and finish all the household chores. My siblings and I constantly ask her why she continues to take care of us even after we have gotten our diplomas and our jobs. Her answer is always the same every time we ask, Because, I'm your mother.

Katrina Leslie

Mom's name: Katrina Leslie                                                                                                                                 Momination: I am sure you hear this in every Mom'ination that you receive, but my mom is truly the hardest working, dedicated, fun, loving, and fun-loving mother I have ever known.  Many admire her for who she is.  As a single mom, raising three kids had many ups and downs, but she was always there for us.  She has always been there for every dance competition, sports event, award ceremony and prom; every late night of homework, and through all heart ache and celebration alike.  She has worked hard over the years, but especially has made a commitment to be home a lot so we could grow up having our mom involved in our lives.  She has always helped us pay for every summer camp and snowboarding trip and any event that ever came up.  She has ALWAYS without fail put us kids before her personal desires, AND needs.  She has always been the home to take in friends in need and to be a safe environment to relax in.  For years she has taken care of any kid who came in our door, whether it was just someone that came to hang out of someone who needed a lunch at school.  She always puts others before herself.

This last year has been especially difficult on our family and an extreme struggle for my mom.  Just after my brother graduated, and as my twin sister and I approach our last year of high school, my mom was diagnosed with colon cancer.  This was what our family expected least.  She has completed a whole session of chemo therapy treatments, and through it all she was STILL there for us in everything and anything.  She never missed a choir concert or an important event.  She never missed a late night of homework, and she never missed out on shopping for dance dresses.  She put her physical condition aside to be with us.  She still struggled to get up and go to work on the days that she finished her treatment, but was not feeling well.  She struggled to cook us dinner because she felt sick, but I still never went to school without a lunch.  She is truly amazing.

We recently thought she would be finished with cancer and chemo therapy, expecting the treatments to work, but found out that the cancer has dropped to three new spots in her body.  The doctors are very hopeful and claim that people make it through this kind of thing all the time.  They say it is very possible for her to have a full recovery from cancer, but she is approaching a second phase of chemo therapy.  For about another month she has some time off to just be healthy and we want her to relax as much as possible.  She deserves all of us to give back to her one hundred and ten percent of what she has given to us.  I saw your commercial this morning and though about how wonderful it would be for my mom to win a nice relaxing day.  I am sure not even my words do her justice, but she is truly incredible. - Kelly Leslie

Mom's name: Laura Sherman
Momination: I am blessed with an exceptional mom who is my every day hero! She is humble, kind and an example to all of us of everything good in the world. Every day that I am alive, I appreciate her more each day. As I have grown older I realize what an exceptional and extraordinary human being she is. So how does a daughter begin to thank her mother for life and motherhood itself? For the love, patience and just plain hard work that go into raising a child? For running after us toddlers, for understanding moody teenagers, for tolerating a college students who knows everything? For helping me adopt my child and become a mother myself? For being ready with advice or remaining silent when it is most appreciated? For not saying, "I told you so" when she could have said those words a dozen times? For unconditional love, thoughtfulness, patience and forgiveness? I am not sure except to acknowledge her for the gift above and the numerous unspoken gifts she has given to me. So although you might want to select a young outwardly beautiful mom, I hope that you will consider honoring an inwardly beautiful mom, who has spent the last 57 years continuously giving us love each and every day.

Mom's name: Melissa Beaumont
Momination: I am nominating my mommy for the Spa Gregorie reward because she is so amazing and really deserves something for herself. I am 3 years old and my sister is 17 months younger than me. She was born with a heart defect and has already had three open heart surgeries with one more coming up in August. After my sister was born she was flown to Children's Hospital in LA and as soon as my mom was released from Hoag she drove up to be with my sister - and commuted up to LA for the entire two months that my sister was in the hospital. For the last two years my mom and dad have had to deal with doctors appointments and hospital stays all the while keeping things as normal as possible for my sister and me. My mommy has been able to deal with all that plus keep the house running and work a full time job! She's amazing! And she really deserves a massage. The rock one sounds really cool. I think she would like that a lot. Thank you for considering her "Momination".

Mom's name: cathy Croy
Momination: Cathy does it all! She volunteers at church camps, takes all three of her children to whatever classes, school, tutoring they need. She is a flight attendant and on lay overs makes the time to visit her EXTREMELY sick Father-In-Law in the hospital or friends she hasn't seen all the while making the plane back home. She is amazing and always doing for others. She's the one who has a list a mile long with friends from grade school to college and has never missed one of our Birthdays, Child's B-Days. Baptism etc... She always sends thank you's and just thinking of you cards. HOW DOES SHE DO IT? I don't know? I wish I could be more like her and find the time to juggle it all and then some. She is the way she is, that's just it a Super Mom, Super Friend, Super Wife, Super Daughter, Super God mother... Just SUPER!!! She just doesn't give time to herself, that's why I nominate Cathy and think a Hot Stone Massage would do her wonders! Imagine what she could do with a little relaxation??? Stand Back!

Mom's name: Crystal Pretzer Harris
Momination: This is my cousin. Her husband was recently arrested for domestic abuse. BAD abuse...and has three felonies against him.She has taken up self defense training in case he is released from prison early. She works full time as a Financial Consultant with Smith Barney and raising her two boys (ages 5 and 2). One of which is autistic and requires special care. She is a great mom, and a great person. I would so love to nominate her for this great prize.....if she couldn't use a day at spa who could!?

Mom's name: Kathy Johnson
Momination: My mom is the most hard-working dedicated person I know. She has sacrificed so much for my sister and I that we would like to do something wonderful for her. My mom works 45 hours a week as a customer service manager and then she teaches 3 nights a week at Saddleback College. She has spent the last 10 years going to school to obtain her Master's Degree. She graduated at 50 years old and the top of her class. Her dedication to go after what she has always wanted but was never able to obtain in her earlier life has given me so much drive and ambition to go after what I want as well. She is such a positive role model, not only to our family but to all the students she teaches as well. After obtaining her degree, she has found it very difficult to get a full time teaching job anywhere! She has to work 2 jobs to make ends meet. She has 3 beautiful grankids that are her world. She baby sits them all the time and instills the same morals and values that she has my sister and I. For that we are truly grateful. She is the 1st person to offer help with our family, both emotionally and financially. She prides herself on her kids and we are all so proud of her and what she does for us that we would love to give her a day of relaxation. Maybe a full body massage and a pedicure. I'm sure she would enjoy anything your spa has to offer. I am sitting her writing this getting all teary eyed because I cant possible put into words how much my mother means to me. She raised us girls as a single parent and it didn't slow her down a bit. She never used it as a crutch and still doesn't. I can honestly say my sister and I were raised right. We are honest and hard-working woman that wont let anything stand in the way to our dreams...just like my mom never did. So please take this as my nomination for why my mother deserves this so very much. Thank you, Kimberly Garrigues

Mom's name: Maria Cortez
Momination: My mother is the Hardest working woman in the world. She came to California from Mexico in 1960. At that time she had just met my dad and began a romance with him. My mother soon married my dad and started a family. The amount of work my mother does is still un real. She has 6 kids and over 26 grand kids. She works two jobs and never takes time off to relax and pamper herself. She is the true meaning of warrior and soldier to me. She is my Motivation!!!

Mom's name: Heidi Marney
Momination: We can't think of an Orange County mom who deserves to be treated to a fabulous day at the spa more than Heidi Marney. She is a full time, stay-at-home mother to three children, ages 5, 4, and 3. She takes care of them without the help of any family in the Southern California area to give her a break. A few years ago, when Heidi's youngest daughter Ella was just a tiny baby, Heidi was diagnosed with breast cancer. She had to go through chemotherapy and other exhausting medical treatments while doing her best to keep her family together. It was a tremendous strain on Heidi and her husband Walt, but fortunately her cancer went into remission. She has been generous enough to talk about her experience as a breast cancer survivor with the members of our local chapter of the MOMS Club, the MOMS Club of Foothill Ranch. In the process of sharing her courageous story, she created a picture of how important self-exams are in saving your life from breast cancer. Recently, Heidi's oldest son was diagnosed with autism. She is now working to educate herself to make sure receives all the care he needs. Though she probably won't admit it, her friends know that Heidi is so busy worrying about her children that she takes almost no time for herself. We hope Spa Gregorie and Cox will consider treating her to the works at your Great Escape or Petite Escape package! Sincerely, Kelly Regier & Valisa Mills MOMS Club of Foothill Ranch Presidents

Mom's name: Janette Kay Montagano
Momination: My mom is hard working, single mom. She works very hard to give my brothers and me a good life. She is always there for us when we need her. She loves and supports tremendously. We know, no matter what she will always be there for us. Listening and loving us. Last year, my middle brother, Jonathon, passed away from an asthma attack, he was only 16 years old. It was very hard on our family. Especially my mom, he was her life as me and my younger brother Daniel are. Even after such a tragedy my mom still trys to stay strong and happy for us, but I can see the sadness in her eyes. She is such a special mom, and if you were to ask anyone that knows us and her they would agree. This why I think my mom deserves a day at the spa.

Mom's name: Cheryl Stewart
Momination: My father passed away when I was five and my brother just two years old. My mom put her life on hold. She found a full-time job and made ends meet. She never complained and if she cried, she did so in the privacy of her own room. We never used public support but there were many nights when we made whatever-is-in-the-fridge soup. When we were in grade school, my mother took a part-time job as the schools librarian so she could be home for us in the afternoon. Before long she realized how much she loved the library & the books, the quiet, the quest for information. And by the time I was finishing high school, she was finishing her undergraduate degree and preparing to enter the library and information science masters program at Cal State San Jose (a satellite program via Cal State Fullerton.) Today she is one of the country's most respected ‘Virtual’ librarians. As the head librarian for the Coastline Community College District she has championed a number of programs including a distance learning program for incarcerated students. She is constantly traveling all over the country to lecture at various panels and conferences. In fact, she is so respected in her career that this year she was elected as Academic Senate President for Coastline. At the end of the day she winds down with a glass of wine and some obscure foreign film. I don't believe she has ever even had a massage. Now that I am a mommy I understand why my mother put her dreams on hold for our family. A pamper day would be my little way of saying, Thank you for everything. I am so grateful that you gave me the opportunity to find my dreams and in turn found yours.

Mom's name: Diane
Nomination: My mom deserves to be nominated! She is the most selfless woman in the world. She raised 5 children, 2 of which are step, works full time, and takes care of her terminally ill husband. On single income, she never stops going and has no time for herself. My mom volunteers at church and donates what little money she has to help others in need. She has worked her whole life and never gets her hair, nails or make-up done. If she won it would mean the world to her and put such a wonderful smile on her beautiful face. Thank you!

Mom's name: Alicia Salata
Momination: One word... selfless. You will never meet someone as caring and passionate than my mother, Alicia. She is the true definition of selfless. My mother has never really had a break in her life. When it comes to the kids, I am the youngest, I have a 39 year old sister (not the easiest even at her age) and a 34 year old brother (thinks he is a god), and I am 24(the normal one). My brother and sis both have kids under the age of two. When she thought I graduated and life would get easy, she was wrong. The grand kids were born! So much joy came. She looks out for her family even more. She makes sure she can baby sit so my brother and sister still have lives and can get out without the kids. She spoils them instead of herself. She will think of any reason to get them something. For example, first day of spring, her birthday. She felt bad on Easter because the Easter bunny came for them and not me, and she had a little gift... (a big one in my heart) of this rock necklace. It was very much in my taste. .. our taste. . it was strong and natural. She puts make up on for work, but not for much else really. She doesn't need to, she is beautiful and anyone who knows her knows that inside and out. She deserves a break, a moment for her. She needs to stop worrying about the others. You must take care of yourself and help yourself before you can help others. Though she has proven that wrong by helping everyone first, there isn't another person I would want more to have a spa day; a second to realize she deserves the world. She has my father and she knows he will always be there, but does she know I will be there? I hope so, and though this 'momination' is rather scattered, it would just be great if she could win this event and understand how much I appreciate her, and the so does the whole family. I LOVE MY MOM!

Mom's name: Donna Catalano
Momination: My mother is the best mom. She is a 6th grade teacher who devotes her life to uplifting children. She is always giving to others. Recently my car died and I didn't have the money to fix it. Mom called and got a car loan ready or I would not have a car anymore. I am on medical disability and she has come through for me in the last 2 years every time I needed help. In the last 10 years she has forgotten to take care of herself and I would love to give her a day to show her how much we all value her.

Mom's name: Debbi Ann Morrissette
Momination: I am nominating a very hardworking mother of three girls, soon to be four. She is currently a graduate student here at UCI doing research in the department of Neurobiology and Behavior. Not only does she have to wake up to take all her daughters to school on time, but she also has to commute daily from San Marcos all the way up here to Irvine to start her day off at 10am. Lately she has been frantically trying to finish up a review article for our laboratory, and trying to collect some data for her dissertation. The past month I have seen her stressed and tired from staying up through the nights having to research and rewrite her review article (that was due a few weeks ago!) Finally she got the OK for submission, and now after all that, I'd think she'd have some time to step back and take a breather, but no. After all that hustling to get that review paper out the door, she jumped right back into research mode. When I found out her graduation date was pushed back a year because more data was needed, I was heart broken, as I have personally seen her put so much work and effort into what we both thought was sufficient. Not only did that not break her stride in work, but also she seems to have increased her workload, constantly working to better her data and research. Now that she is in her 5th month of pregnancy, I think she deserves to have a little break, even if it was just one day, and what better way than to go to a spa? Last year her husband bought her a relaxing spa package, but it expired because she was so frazzled from working towards her advancement. I just hope that this year she is willing to take one day off to sit back and relax.

Mom's name: sue dailey-simpson
Momination: Nobody deserves a day at the spa more than our Mom, Sue Dailey-Simpson. We're not sure she'll actually go if you choose her. You see, she's got a full plate. Mom is the primary caretaker of our stepdad, Bill, a retired physicist who suffered a stroke six years ago. Bill is confined to a wheelchair, can barely communicate and needs help to accomplish even simple tasks such as bathing and getting dressed. Mom also cares for her aging parents because "that's what you do for the people you love." Our 80-year-old grandmother took a nasty spill a few months ago, which left her in a wheelchair. And Grandpa just underwent surgery that failed to remove all of a cancerous tumor from his bladder. Can you imagine the stress of knowing the people you love are suffering? Mom is a hero for all she does to ease their pain, and for keeping them smiling. Nothing would give us more pleasure than seeing her pampered for a day, and I'm sure Bill, Grandma and Grandpa would enjoy it, too. As Grandpa often says, "That Sue is one cool dude."

Mom's name: Hae An
Momination: Loss, sadness, anger, hopelessness is what my mom had to overcome. With two teenage girls and losing her husband, my mom has taught me to be the strong woman that I am today. The day that my father passed away ten years ago is a day that will stay with me for the rest of my life and changed my mother's life forever. My mom should be Spa Gregorie's Momination 2007 because she is the most amazing woman. She met my father and got married at the early age of 21. They were so much in love and had two daughters. We were such a close and loving family. Who would have ever known that my father would pass away in a car accident at the age of 49? After my dad's passing, my mom had to get right back up and go to work to continue paying the bills. From that moment till now, she works 60 hours a week and runs her own beauty salon. Since then, she has put two daughters through college and walked me down the aisle to get married to an amazing man. She deserves to be pampered because she works with her body to make other people look beautiful and she's always aching. And she loves the spa! Her current spa relaxation is going to the pool spa, which she loves! I know that my mom would absolutely love a Deep Tissue Massage with a Facial! Thanks for all that you do!

Mom's name: Nobuko Christenson
Momination: Every individual writing this essay believes his/her mother is most worthy to receive a day of pure relaxation. However, my mother is truly deserving of a day like this because there is not enough I could give to show my deepest love and appreciation of her. My mom encompasses so many wonderful qualities, but I've chosen three that I feel make her unique from the rest. Determination: My mom became a single parent after my dad passed away when I was six. Two years later she was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a mastectomy. During this time, my mom raised my brother and me and then went back to school to earn her teaching credential and masters degree. She showed me that strength of mind and maintaining a purpose in life could enable me to accomplish anything. Independence: I watched my mom rely only on herself in so many instances. Growing up in the mountains, I saw her chop firewood, shovel snow, cut tree branches with a chainsaw, rebuild the deck outside, install a drip sprinkler system, and use power tools like it was second nature to her. She taught me to have the knowledge and the capability to do things as an independent, strong woman. Existence: At 65 years of age, my mom truly takes pleasure in living her life. She goes hiking, camping, practices yoga, and socializes with her friends almost each weekend. Two years ago she even did an eleven-day hike with a 50-pound backpack on the Wonderland Trail in Washington State! Hearing her stories reminds me to enjoy and appreciate my own life. My mom's current relaxation practices simply consist of yoga and fresh air. She doesn't allow herself to escape where her mind and body can truly be rewarded and relaxed. I believe the Spa Gregorie's treatment my mom would most benefit from is Gregorie's Petite Escape. The nurturing of the body and psyche sound exactly what my mom needs.

Mom's name: Eunice Russell
Momination: My mom has been an outstanding and highly inspirational individual throughout the thirty-three years of my life. My father was never involved in my life, so my mom raised me on her own while simultaneously caring for my Grandmother who was stricken with Kidney Disease. Although the stress and sadness of being a single mother and dealing with a terminally ill relative weighed heavily on her during this time, she managed to earn her B.A. from U.S.C.. After my Grandmother passed when I was ten years old, life became even more difficult. Yet my mom's resilience, optimistic outlook, and positive approach to life's challenges carried us through these times. To this day, she continues to be a pillar of strength and inspiration. Her ability to navigate through the seemingly impossible terrain which often defines her path is a trait in which I am extremely proud and grateful.

Mom's name: Michelle Hagerty
Momination: I am nominatig my wife Michelle because she has been going though a rough time and I would love to be able to do something nice and unexpected for her. She is a mom to a two year old boy which is hard enough. She stays at home with our son since I travel alot for work, somethimes she doesn't get a break for a week at a time. She recently suffered a miscarrage after 10 months of trying we finally got pregnant and when this happened she was devestated. She has been amazing about keeping it together on the outside for our son even though she is grieving on the inside. She loves massages and facials but since she stays at home and we recently purchased a new home she doesn't get to induldge that often. Our anniversary is May 11, and also happens to fall on mothers day. I know it will be a rough mothers day for her this year. I think the R&R will do her some good even if it's just to forget about things for a few hours. Sincerely, Scott Hagerty

Mom's name: Angelica Stewart
Momination: My name is Jacqueline Stewart and i am 22 years old. I sincerely think my mother, Angelica, deserves wto win this spa because i have watched her endure so much grief and tragedy in her life. At the age of 6, my father and her husband past away with aids, leaving her a single mother to support me. She stayed strong, and even after my father's family turned their backs on us after his death, they kept the money that he had been saving for us in case of his death. But she did not let loosing a part of our family affect her. She then worked two job to give me the best education anyone to ask for; she enrolled me into private school. Then a few years later, she met my step father and they got married. But after 5 years of trying to conceive, she unfortunately had an ectopic pregnancy which left her tubes in bad shape. So she had to undergo surgery to remove both tubes. which meant that she and my step father would have to either adopt or try Envitro Fertilization. So they tried, and succeeded. but it was painful to have to give my mom her shot everyday for 60 days. We were then exstatic to find out that she was pregnant. But 29 weeks later, my mother was rushed to the hospital because she was in labor. There was an inflammation of the placenta which cause her to give birth early. My little brother was born 3 lbs and 6oz. and 19 inches long. But the paramedics rushed him to a hospital that had the equipment to ensure his health. SO my mother did not get to hold the baby til 4 weeks later. My brother was in the NICU center for 6 weeks. My mother became depressed and scared. But it didnt stop there.... things got better until last november when my mother's best friend past away from cancer. She was heart broken. But no matter what, she was always the backbone of our family and my future. She never gave up and she was such a great mother. SHe always put others before her and never complained. She went from having me at 19 and not being able to go to college to quitting a high paying job that took her out of the country so that she could be around more when i started high school. Now our family is healthy and my mother started a new buisness. i lover her and hope one day i can be as strong and courageous as she is still today. She deserve a break and a special "THANK YOU" for bringing me a happy little brother and a new father as well as a comfortable life. I am so proud of her and all her accomplishments. please take this into consideration. sincerely, Jacqueline Stewart

Mom's name: Michelle Guinn
Momination: When you think of a mother you think of someone loving and nurturing. When I think of my mother I think of superwomen. Her life has been a continuous roller coaster of good and bad, but yet she handles everything with grace while still putting everyone else before herself. From the time she was a little girl she took care of her parents, then she took care of her neice and nephew as well as her husband and children. She spent some time raising her 2 young girls alone working long hours at her 2 jobs. She remarried and took care of her 2nd husband, dotting on his needs as well as the needs of her two pre teens and a newborn baby. In addition to taking care of her family, she is the first one to offer assistance to neighbors and friends. She currently brings baked goods to the older women who lives next door, and a motherly figure to the older womens granddaughter. The last year she has seen so much pain and suffering, yet she still continues to be an inspirational point of joy for many people. She helps her family, her community, her friends, her neighbors, her church, and when most people would be well beyond their limit to give she gives to strangers. Even when she had nothing left to give she found ways to offer her love and support to many people in need. Her love knows no limits and she gives it to everyone who she comes into contact with. She bakes cookies for her co-workers birthdays, and provides support for the neighbor who is grieving. On Easter when she really could not afford to do the whole Easter things she went to the store and still made a mountain out of a molehill. She even invited people who were alone on the Easter holiday to share in the goodies that she could make. No we did not have a huge turkey, ham feast but we had delicious food and a place filled with love. A love that is spread to everyone is why my mom deserves to be recognized, because she truely is superwoman.

Mom's name: Lynda Clearwater
Momination: I feel my mom deserves to be mominated because she has done so much for me and my younger sister. My mom has been a single parent for over 13 years and she works extremely hard at providing a quality life for us. This of course hasn't been easy for her because my mom never got the opportunity to go to college and make a career for herself. Her parents didn't want her to continue her education once she graduated from high school. Instead she got a job and moved out when she was 18. Without a degree to fall back on, she has had to work extra hard to get jobs that others said she wasn't qualified for. This has made life for her difficult but she faces each challenge head on. For her, the goal is to give my sister and me a life she never had. We are her will power as well as her reward. My mom has sacrificed so much for my education and I am proud to say that currently I am a student at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo studying mechanical engineering. My mom has taught me so much through the years. Her struggles in life have shown me how difficult the real world is. Her hard work and perseverance have shown me that you can surpass society's expectation of you no matter what your background is. Her optimism has shown me that life's too short to let bumps in the road destroy your goals. She is my role model and I can only hope that I amount to half the person she is. My mom doesn't get much time to relax and be pampered. I think she would enjoy a massage or facial. Thank you.

Mom's name: Cynthia Carol
Momination: I have never come across anyone who can take so little and still give so much. About two years ago my little brother was diagnosed with a rare form of Leukemia. My entire family was moved to Seattle so my brother could receive premium treatment. My mom was the backbone holding us all together. It seems as times got harder my mom just stepped up to the plate. From easing my brothers pain, helping my little sister as she enrolled in a new school, to even helping me graduate highschool and guide me through the scary time of applying and going to college. I feel that I will never be able to get a gift grand enough to show her how much I love and value all that she does for the family. She is a companion, a friend, a wife, but most of all she is an incredible Mother! I Love You MOM

Mom's name: Dana Gonzales
Momination: My wife Dana is the best mom to our two year old daughter Ava. She is a hard working stay at home mom and is very devoted to our daughter. In addition to being a full time mom she is also a student. After looking after Ava all day, she attends school at night four nights a week. In addition to this she has been ablt to maintain a 4.0 GPA. Dana is studying to be a Labor and Delivery Nurse. She chose this profession because she is a nurturing person and because it is a profession that will allow her to spend more time with Ava. Dana's schedule is very full and she does not have a lot of time for herself. If she is not caring for Ava, she is either in school or studying. Dana is also an ex-Marine and I believe that this has helped her keep up with her tough days. She is an extremely hardworking mom and definitely deserves a day at the spa. I think that she would benefit from a massage or facial. I think that I would benefit from her having a spa day, too!

Mom's name: Leah A Touchstone
Momination: I am honored to nominate my daughter Leah of 27 years. She has three children, two girls and one baby boy. She would so benefit from a trip to the spa as she suffers daily from Chrones disease and chronic knee pain (she was born with floating knee caps). She loves Spa Gregories as we went there together one time as a special Mother's day for me. It would give her the relaxation that she truly needs. Thank you for this opportunity. Sharon Touchstone

Mom's name: Pat Caldwell
Momination: She'd Awesome. yep, I am biased, she did bring me into this world, and what a better way to say "Thanks Mom you rock," than to enter her into this cool comp. She gave birth to 4 kids, survived a brain tumor, and has never had a massage, so please help change that last phrase!

Mom's name: Denise
Momination: i think that my mom deserves to be Mominated because she is the hardest worker i know. While being a single parent she works really hard at home and at her job which is for Smart Car USA at Mercedes Benz of Laguna Niguel, which requires a lot of time and hard work. During the week she doesn't get home until 7:30 at night and she has to work on the weekends. She then comes home and is a mother to me. She barley has time to relax and do anything she wants to do. If she wins i know she will be so grateful for a nice wonderful relaxing day, and it will be the best Mothers Day ever!

Mom's name: Joan Ting
Momination: I have the worlds greatest mom, her name is Joan. She is 76 years old and has worked her entire life and is still working. She can tear down, repair and rebuild absolutely anything and has done so for most of her life in order to maintain her rental property. She has demolished sidewalks with a jack hammer, torn down entire buildings to the frame, re-tiled, plumbed, painted, carpeted, repaired holes in the walls, replaced broken windows and cleaned every sort of greasy appliance you can possibly imagine. She went back to college when I was in my early twenties and received her nursing degree working nights in the hospital so she could be at home with my brothers during the day and when they were in school she continued to maintain the apartments. Two of my brothers were in serious accidents and she cared for them night and day. One of them was paralyzed from the chest down and she cared for him for 25 years at home. He was 6’ 7” tall and it unbelievably hard work. You would think she would tire but no, she loves to shop and probably knows the names of every salesperson between here and South County. She loves bling and pretty clothes. Last year the door of her bedroom slammed shut while she was on the balcony and locked her out. She panicked! She was going to miss her nail appointment. Not to be deterred, she crawled up the side, over the ledge and onto the roof of a two story house to flag down a helpful stranger who was able to get a ladder, just in time to make her appointment. Perhaps she would enjoy a manicure and pedicure and facial (very hot on the roof and skin burns) She is hysterically funny and can bring a party to its knees with laughter. Just recently over the past two years she has been able to slow down a bit and start enjoying her life. She has taken up golf and gets up at 5:30 A.M. to play 18 holes several days a week. She attends plays, movies and meets her friends for dinners. Most of all she adores her grandchildren who run to her with toys that are broken or need to be assembled. Grandma can fix! I would feel blessed to have half of her talents and zest for life. My mother is truly amazing and although she denies it, very, very beautiful. Alexis Cavanaugh

Mom's name: Martha Fernandez
Momination: I am a new, single mother of a beautiful 3 month old. I could not thank my mother enough for all of her hard work, dedication, and love which she has demonstrated over and over again. She has never let me down, she is my biggest support, and she is my inspiration to one day be anything like the mother she has been to me the past 22 years of my life. My son could not ask for a better grandmother than her! Thank you

Mom's name: Karin MacKrell
Momination: Often referred to as the Brady Bunch, I have a big family that my mom works daily to keep organized and sane. You see, when I was in middle school it was just me, my dad and my two brothers, then my dad met my current step-mom who had her three daughters and before you knew it we were a blended family of eight. Everyone we meet is amazed at how blessed we were by God, I mean, it seriously seems like the perfect match, not to mention both sets of kids are similar ages: there are me and my step-sister who are 16, my younger brother and step-sister who are 13, my youngest step-sister who is 12 and youngest brother who is 10. So really the only person keeping us from being the Brady Bunch is me(since I am not a guy). But anyways, that is enough about my family, the whole reason I am writing this is to focus on my Mother and talk about how much I appreciate her and how much she deserves a day at the spa. But I WON'T be lying when I say both are true. Through the busy schedule of carting us all around, making restaurant worthy breakfasts and dinners, cleaning the house and making sure that we are all happy, my mom rarely has any time for herself. Any down time she has she spends worrying about us and what she may have forgotten or still needs to do. If she does have time to read a book it is while she waits for us to get out of practice or school or whatever it may be as she sits in the parking lot. And while this may sound like any kids description of their mothers day just think about it… could you imagine doing six loads of laundry a day to make sure your children's sports uniforms are clean or cooking enough food to feed an army hoping there is enough for everyone? Sure we all try to help out where we can but as the saying goes, a mother's work is never done, and for this mother it is all that work times eight. So if asked if I believe my mom deserves a well needed vacation the answer is a thousand times YES, even if that only means a day at the spa, it is still a day away from the stress and chaos that have become a constant part of her life. Current relaxation practices: My mom does occasionally get to go to the spa as a gift from my dad, there she gets such things as massages and facials, but for everyday things she does to relax, my mom usually reads a book or spends a little time in her room where it is quiet so she can attempt to relax, of course people are usually knocking on her door every five minutes asking for something What treatments she would enjoy the most: -Beyond Botox Facial: because although I don't think she needs it, my mom is always complaining and worried about age and its affect on her -Deep Tissue Massage: a way to release a lot of the stress and tension in her body

Mom's name: Pam Horner
Momination: A mother is defined in the dictionary as, “a term of familiar address for an old or elderly woman, this description doesn't even come to close to what my mother is to my family and me (dictionary.com). My mom runs my family; she is the mediator of the arguments, the accountant of our bills, and the reason of our happiness. Everything accomplished in my life is a reflection of my mother's hard work and inspiration. She gives me confidence in everything I do and encourages me to challenge myself and take the next step. In my mom's eyes giving-up, backing down, and giving in is not an option, in order to succeed, you must believe in your self and believe in those who surround you. My mom is not only a mother of three children, she is a mother of hundreds. She is an English professor at Cal State San Marcos and spreads her words of knowledge to hundreds of students weekly. Not only do my brother, sister and I learn from her, but all of her students are given the opportunity to learn and thrive from her knowledge and wisdom. She gives hope to those who don't believe in themselves and encouragement to reach their goals. With my mom's forty-five minute drive to work, I feel she will enjoy the lymphatic drainage message from Spa Gregories. This would help her immune system stay strong as she spends late nights writing her thesis paper to complete her masters. All in all my mom is a strong woman with a big heart and wise mind whom only wishes the best upon her friends, family, and students.

Mom's name: Janeen Blackwelder
Momination: My mom is an amazing woman. I know that's what everyone says though and it's true. Every mom is amazing. My mom in particular however, has been my inspiration for everything I do in life. She is my guiding light, my voice of reason, and my friend in times of need. My mom raised me selflessly for 17 years and continues to do that to this day. The word relaxation is not in her vocabulary. All the time she has she dedicates to my sister and me. She's constantly running around trying to get us to sports and other activities and she always makes sure we're having the time of our lives. Whenever she gets her paychecks, she gives my sister and me money to go shopping instead of using it for herself. She claims there's always next time but she keeps doing it. My mom has helped me through school and she's a major reason I'm at the top of my class with a 4.8 GPA. College, SAT's, and school are a piece of cake with a guardian angel on your shoulder. Recently for National Honor Society, my group decided to put together gift baskets for unwed mother's for Mother's Day to give to the Adopt-A-Mom Program at Birth Choice, and my mom has been the major driving force behind getting donations for the gift baskets and coordinating the whole thing. She doesn't even think about herself, she's just thinking about other moms and helping them on their special day. I hope you can help me honor my mom this Mother's Day. I think she would really enjoy the Aloha Paradise! Package. We went to Hawaii once for a vacation and ever since then she's been dying to return. I know she doesn't have the money for it though. One day I hope to help her dream come true. Maybe that day can be this Mother's Day. I hope you can help me give my mom a piece of her own special paradise on Mother's Day.

Mom's name: Wavey Cope
Momination: I know that being a Mom is a tough job; I myself am a new mother and now fully understand how much work is involved. My Mother is in her 70's and has finally retired; in fact today is her first day of retirement. She has always been a busy career woman, loving Mother, My Best Friend, devoted wife and fantastic Grandparent. If anyone deserves a Spa Day it's my Mother. She has been working as an Accountant for St. Josephs Health System in Orange; she volunteers with the Orange Assistance League and works on several projects for the Sisters of St. Joseph. One of these special projects is a Tea/luncheon for a program called Bethany which is for abused women (a lot of work goes into these projects). My Mom has helped so many in her life and has given selflessly over the years. She has a special way of making every one around her feel loved and cared for. I always think she is a saint, but she had I have a special bond and I see her true inner beauty. Now it's time for her to relax and enjoy life. I know she would love a relaxing day at a beautiful spa and I know she deserves something like this. A little R&R would be an excellent way for her to unwind and begin this new phase of her life as a retiree and help melt away any tension and warm her sole. Please choose my Mother she is a gifted and deserving woman who always finds it in her heart to reach out to those who are in need of a friend. She truly deserves and would really appreciate this more than you know.

Mom's name: Rozanne
Momination: my mom is the best mom a daughter could ask for. i know a lot of daughters say that. but my mom is my best friend. she is there no matter what. i tell my friends how close my mom and i are and all they can say is how lucky i am. and i just smile. because i agree. i tell my mom that i like a guy or that a guy asked me out and she wants to know all the details. even if nothing happend in my day, my mom wants to know everything. my mom trusts me. my mom and i never fight. ever since i can remember we have never had a huge disagreement. my mom is my role model. people tell me that i look so much like my mom, that i am outgoing like my mom, and how much i am like her in so many ways, people are suprised that i take that as such a big complement. i have always wanted to be like my mom. on the show Gilmore Girls, i see Loreili and Rory and i laugh. because it sounds so much like my mom and i. ever since i was a little kid, i have never been able to get my mom something that i know that she will like. my sister and i wouold make her things. and every year when i ask her what she wants, she tells me "i will love anything that you give me!" and altough that i know that is true, i have always wanted to wow her in what i got her. every event that has happened in mine and my sisters lives, my mom has been there in the audience. every school play, band concert, game, graduation, you name it my mom was right there cheering us on. at my kindergarden graduation, i will never forget seeing my mom crying and smiling. and i remember thinking to myself as a little kid, why is mommy crying? i thought she was happy for me? then later i asked my dad, daddy, why was mommy crying? i thought that she was happy for me? and i remember him telling me, "it's just because she loves you so much, and she sees that you are becoming a big girl". then, this came up again on my first day of high school, my mom dropped me off, and i looked back, and i saw her crying. "why is mommy crying? i thought she was happy for me?", then i remembered what my dad told me"it's because she is happy for you, and she knows that you are becoming a big girl". i know that on my sixteenth, and eighteenth birthday, on my wedding day, when i have my children, there will be tears, and i know that it is because she is happy for me, and because she knows that i am becoming a big girl. i love my mom more than anything in the world. she deserves the best!

Mom's name: Sharone Vearrier
Momination: My mom is the most amazing, generous, and thoughtful mom ever! When I am sick she will drive all the way over to my house to bring me soup and medicine. She always takes care of my cats and she will not only feed them but play with them. My mom and I do all of our shopping together, even when she doesn't need to get anything. Sometimes I go over to her house on my way to work and she makes me a wonderful breakfeast with coffee. She is always working as a mom even though she has a job. She is the hardest working mom ever! She deserves a day of relaxation at the spa for all that she does for her 4 children (5 if you count her husband). I couldn't ask for a better mom . . . I love her!

Mom's name: Lilian
Momination: My mom especially deserves this "Momination", because she deals with the struggles of everyday life, including dealing with her two crazy daughters, and still comes home with a smile on her face. She is a great mediator and deserves a break once in a while from her busy life. Love you mom! :]

Mom's name: Anita McElvane
Momination: I nominate my wife. She deserves a splurge because she spends her days giving all of herself to taking care of her 96 year old grandmother, me and our child. Her stress level is extremely high when it comes to her grandmother because at that age, every day is unpredictable. My wife's grandmother has slowly been losing her mind too which adds more strain to my wife. Whenever I ask her what she wants for Mother's Day her answer is always, just leave me in peace so I can have a quiet day. For her dedication to all of us, I nominate her.

Mom's name: Janice Hammon
Momination: Why does she deserve to be Mominated? There are a million reasons that I could give. My amazing mother deserves to be Mominated because whatever she learns, she teaches; and whatever she gets, she gives. She gives anything and everything that she can give, and never asks for anything in return. Whatever she does, she puts her heart and soul in to it. Whether it's raising her own three children or supervising her program of 200 cheerleaders, she does all that she can do to make sure that everyone else is happy. She puts everyone's wants and needs before her own and I think it is about time that she gets a little something in return. I know many people who would agree with me when I say that my mother deserves this more than anyone else. I know that me sending this entry would mean more to her than anything else, and winning would be more than she could even imagine. Many people don't understand how hard she works and how much she gives to everyone around her. I wish there was a way that I could explain just how amazing she is and how much of an impact she has had on the lives of people who have met her. All I can say is that choosing my mother would mean the world to me, and even more to a wonderful women who deserves this day. A day where she can, for once, think about herself.

Mom's name: Pamela
Momination: I would like to nominate my wife Pamela. She is a mother of 3 boys, a full time job as it is for most Mom's. Yes she puts herself before everyone else in the family and has little to no time for herself. Over the past 4 years my oldest son has been in and out of the hospital with complications from Crohn's disease. My wife has had to learn to be a "Home Nurse" for him which involved morning and night medications intravenous. In addition the challenges of having spent numerous days and nights in a hospital with my son and trying to juggle the rest of our family. Pamela is very deserving of having a day to herself and allowing someone else pamper her. Thank you. Adam George

Mom's name: Cathleen Mulligan-Golden
Momination: My Mommy should be Mominated because she is the best mommy in the world. I know my Mommy has had a very ruff year with many different things. She is very stressed that she has to go back to work after spending th first 3 years with me. I'm a big girl now. My Mommy is the most caring, loving and kind person. I like going to mice house (Disneyland) with her. I am the luckiest lil girl in the whole wide world. This was written by Caitlyn Dad, for Caitlyn and her Mommy. Chris & Caitlyn

Mom's name: Kristy Banford
Momination: Kristy gets my Momination because of all the moms I know she deserves this day. I havnt known Kristy long. She was only a mom I knew on my sons baseball team. As I got to know her better, I saw what a genuine person she was. She was a single mom with a great kid. She works very hard and she would make every one of her sons practices and games. We have cried together for our children, since we are both financially not able to afford the sports our kids are in at High School and we always have to ask for time to pay the big fees. and I feel for her..I wish I can help her more and since I cant, maybe she can have one day to get away. Kristy is a great friend..she is a person but she is an awesome mom.

Mom's name: Kathy Ashworth
Momination: I would like to mominate the moms in my neighborhood who helped me at the most difficult time in my life. From the moment I found out I had Non Hodgkins Lymphoma, these moms stepped up to the plate to help my family and help me with my four kids during my chemo days. If possible I want to show them my gratitude. Words are not enough to let them know how thankful I am for what they did.

Mom's name: My Mom!! Joy Tandy
Momination: Where to begin, how do you say all the things you wish you could say to your mom about her after it's all said and done? Would you write about all the triumphs she took along with her, or would you feel sorry for the suffering and such utter selflessness she radiated? She's amazing, will always be amazing.... energy is neither created or destroyed.. and hers will definitely travel somewhere far. It will stay so very near to me at the same time... Joy had 4 kids, Myself, Beverly, Charleen and Michael. Took care of us even though the other half didn't commit, she taught me how to be positive in life. Leaving me with a lasting psychological peacefulness at just the ways she told us to be. She's perfect, she loves butterfly's...she hates the way she looks, but she looks just like me! I want to see her smile and look in the mirror and knows she looks good.... She's saving up her money to get some caps on her teeth which she has always wanted. She was a foster child, and no one ever put forth the thousands of dollars for her as she did me.... I'm going to owe her about two eternities..She doesn't care what kind of service package she gets.... and I'm sure she'd be very funny on TV.. Give her a shot, I'm sure she'll make you smile ;) Love Karin!!!! A COX customer :)

Mom's name: Laurie Chapman
Momination: I would like to nominate my mom for the momination contest because she is so hard working and is so understanding everything that is going on around her. She has recently gotten a kidney transplant after being diagnosed with Polycistic Kidney disease and had to wait 2 and 1/2 years just on the California waiting list. She has been such a strong individual and never gave up even when times were hard. I think that this spa day would mean so much to her and after all she has gone through. I would personally think she would enjoy anything that is offered to her. She is doing such a great job in raising me and my older sister and I would just like to reward her for all her hard work and dedication. I would love more than anything to make her happy. I just want to reward her for everything she has done and work for and for making my life so special with her being in it. This would mean everything to me just to see her smile. She has given me so many oppurtunities to make my life as great as it could be and now i would just like to give something back to her. Thank you!

Mom's name: Marianne Richards
Momination: My name is Paul Richards. I'm 11 years old and I would like to secretly nominate my mom Marianne. My mom puts so much of her time into my life and my 3 brother's lives. She always puts us first and I want to thank her by putting her first. She teaches us about God and being good Christian boys and men. This nomination comes from my desire to treat my Mom like a queen. She treats us so well, we need to honor her greatly. I think she would most like the Ancient Royal Bathing Ritual. It has relaxation and a massage. My Mom works as a housewife and stays home with me and my 3 brothers (17, 14, 11 - my twin Mark). She is up at 6am everyday to get us ready for school, makes lunches, drives us to school, picks us up, drops us at volleyball, baseball, soccer, all our practices, and everything. She does laundry, cooks, cleans, goes to Costco to get all our food, and does everything. She never complains, ever. She goes to bed late. She never spends money or special time on herself or does anything extravagant. This would be a nice way for us to honor her and let her spend time on herself. She always puts us first and we would like to put her first. This gift to her would be an honor from us to her. I hope you pick my Mom as an honoree. Thank you very much. Paul Richards

Mom's name: Sandi Gillette
Momination: My Mom is truly the most remarkable woman I have ever met. She is not only my best friend, confident, sounding board, biggest fan and source of support but the most amazing Mom a girl could ever ask for. I would not be the person I am today without my mother. She is truly an unbelievable woman that has given all that she has to the children of OC for the past 30 years. My Mom is a school teacher that truly loves what she does. Every morning when she wakes, she can't wait to get to work and always works her hardest to teach the children and most importantly be a source of support to them as well. When I was young and fell from a tree and broke my leg my Mom slept on the hospital floor for 3 weeks and never left my side. She has continued to be such an amazing example as the woman I only WISH to be one day. I feel that some may say that my mom is ordinary, but my mom is a hero to so many and is anything but ordinary. I am entering this to hope that she could get some kind of recognition for her last 30 years as a mother, teacher and friend. I feel truly blessed to have her in my life and love sharing her with the other children as people often come up to us at the mall or supermarket and ask me, Do you know how lucky you are to have her as a mom? I can simply answer, YOU HAVE NO IDEA! We are currently planning my July wedding and I would love nothing more than to have a spa day with her in the upcoming months. She has never asked for anything in return for her life dedicated to service but I think this would be the perfect opportunity to make your ordinary mom feel special and appreciated for one day!

Mom's name: Beverly Sonin
Momination: My Mom is a Mom to everyone, she just has that extra smile and love to give. She is always there whenever you need someone to talk to or just to get a hug. My Mom is the best Mom, Wife and Grandma. Always thinking of other's first is her motto. I would love to see her get special treatment because she is one special lady. Always looking to help the next person.

Mom's name: Joy Skaggs
Momination: When I was 4 my birth mother passed away and then at 6 my new mom stepped into the picture. Words could not describe her. She always tells me that when i call her mom her heart beats an extra beat. She was and is almost Un-human or "superhuman" in the way she leads her daily life. She always incorporates love, kindness, values, and morals into my decisions and actions everyday. She encourages me to live life to the fullest and to try anything and everything. Because of her i am who i am today. She does all of this as well as balancing a full time job! I love her so much, and I would really love it if i could give her a great surprise this year for mothers day.

Mom's name: Maria Isabel Rodriguz
Momination: Most definetly my mother...she is my role model my inspiration the person who drives me to strive to be the best in life. My mother was a single mother for many years, she raised my brother and i by herself. I never really got to spend time with her because she was always working to make ends meet however my mom never missed one sports practice, one rehersal, one game, never the less on parent conference, she was unstopable. Over the year time, work, age, and overall tiredness has taken a toll on my mother and her body especially now that she is 40 years old and gave birth to my baby sister on April 18. Up until the day she had to stop working because she was almost due, my mother has not taken a break or pampered herself in about 10-15 years. She is alwasy working working working. I would love to give my mom a day for her and I to catch up a day that is just dedicated to her and making her feel relaxed and appreciated.

Mom's name: Tracy Fanelli
Momination: My mom is not only the most amazing mom but she is my best friend. My mom is a high school teacher who puts her heart and soul into her teaching. she loves her students and works really hard to make their experience the best it can be. My mom has never been able to just take some time for herself to just indulge and relax. I know that if she is chosen she would feel like a princess and I think more than anyone else my mom, one of the most selfless. generous and loving women i know deserves to be a princess.

Mom's name: Barbara Puffer
Momination: Dear Spa Gregorie's; My Mom has gone through a lot in the last three years. She first had a heart attack and had to undergo a quadruple bypass, then after successfully recovering she, without warning, lost her sister follow by both her parents within a month of each other. I can see the impact of all this in her face and would love to wipe it out, even if for just a day. She has always been there for me and I would love to have this wonderful gift to give her. She has never been to a spa and I just know it would be something she would love and enjoy. Thank you sincerely, Laura de Guzman

Mom's name: Teresa Battista
Momination: I could not ask for a better Mom! :) My Mom is a CANCER SURVIVOR! She was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called a GIST. 3/4 of her stomach was removed and 6 months of chemo was endured. Her body literally went thru torture, but from her attitude and smile...you would never know. She is an amazing woman! She never stopped working during chemo, still took care of me, my brother and dad, still made us dinner, and always had a smile on her face. She didn't give up...she showed me what it is to be strong! She is unbelievably nurturing, caring, a shoulder to cry on, a shoulder to lean on and most of all, a best friend. I don't think there was ever a day growing up that she didn't have time to make the most amazing dinners, help with homework and attend all of our events and contined to work full time! She never puts herself first, is one of the most unselfish people I know, she would give to me and my brother before herself and this is why she deserves a day to get pampered!!! PICK MY MOM! :) SHE DESERVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!

Mom's name: Jane
Momination: Jane works more than full time as GM for a boutique hotel, she will then come home and change immediately into something comfortable and begin cleaning and or cooking and playing with boys. Mother of 2 and when all is said and one by 7pm at night, her favorite time is sitting and holding the boys and talking to them about what they did today or teaching them volleyball. Every weekend if nothing happens at work and she actually gets a weekend off, she always gets us out the door to beat the beach rush, she will have the cooler packed, surf boards and boogie boards loaded and ready to go. She once modeled a short time ago, in my eyes she is still stunning, but I am sure she would love the endermology treatment and or the Epicuribrasion or body polishing. I don't shoot, I'm a guy!

Mom's name: Kimberlee Fernandez
Momination: My mom deserves a spa break is because she needs a break, she helps the family, she cleans the mess. She's a great mom, she does everything right and well. She's a hard working women. She has four children and is divorced working hard to make money for us kids. She deserves to have this and I love my mom. She never buys anything for herself and always spends her money on us kids. My mom is always cutting and dying her friends hair for free and always helps others and strangers that need help, without asking for any money even though she needs the money. Helps out at church all the time. My mom used to have a job to help old people and every Sunday we would go and volunteer as a family to make the old people smile. My mom has three boys and one girl, I am the girl and I 'm 8, my 3 brothers are 18, 16, 12. I love my brothers and my mom very much. We don't have any money to buy her a mothers day gift and this would make her mothers day very very very special. Please help my mom. Love, Faith Fernandez

Mom's name: Paige Wells
Momination: Paige Wells is not my mother, but my sister. She is very devoted to her two kids and her husband. See deserves to be nominated because not only is she the best teacher that could ever be but she also has been going to school to get her Masters Degree while working full time taking care of her kids and her husband but also being a great Aunt to my son and a wonderful sister to me.

Mom's name: Maria Bedard
Momination: Simply stated I am a Jr. and couldn't be more proud to have the same name as my hero. Her unwavering support through some very difficult times has truly been a testament to her love and devotion to her #1 priority, her children. She's worked very hard to provide and support while I realized my dreams. Undoubtedly deserving all the best in the world, since that's what she's always wanted and provided for me. In addition to a great Mom, she is a fantastic Grandma...or Mamere as we call her. My Joey couldn't love her more, constantly begging to join Mamere on one adventure after another. Between playing one on one, swimming together, guitar lessons, and walks on the beach, nothing holds them back to experiencing life to the fullest. I'm so glad Joey gets to experience the kind of childhood I had. My husband would easily agree that she has brought such happiness to all our lives, adding that she spoils him regularly with her cooking. Food and hugs, two things Mom is always good for! We never walk out of her home empty handed and can you believe, she still surprises me with packed lunches once in awhile? 29 years of packing a lunch, but she doesn't get tired of loving, not my Mom, not ever! Finally, her best example as a Mom has been as a wonderful daughter to my Grandma. Daily calls just to say good morning and tremendous respect! Wow, we should all be so lucky as to have a woman like this in our lives leading the example of how to honor the ones you love. My teacher, my nurse, my cheerleader, my friend, My Mom.

Mom's name: Evelyn Cohn
Momination: My mom is the greatest mom ever. She has been working so hard I would love to give her a gift like this for mothers day. My mom has been super stressed because we just moved into a new house and she is getting married in 2 months. I think she needs a break and she would love it if she got a day at the spas. I just really hope my mom would get picked it would be great. Thanks

Mom's name: Margrette Sibell
Momination: my mom has always been on the go working and always busy and i think that she desrves a day to relax and stress free. She does so much for people and i think she deserves something for herself. She is definitely a great mother and she has a big heart! If you only knew her you would see how great and kind she is

Mom's name: Lesli
Momination: A Light In The Dark Amazing, patient, considerate, and most of all an unbelievable mom. These are just a few of many words I could use to describe my mother. MY mom is forty four and works at the Superior Courts in Riverside and Corona. She is a court clerk, and has been working for the courts for about six years. She's starting her own travel company, and works her fingers to the bone everyday. My twenty four year old brother josh lives with us, so its just the three of us. Everyday life has it's ups and downs, but my moms always there no matter what the circumstance. My mom has seen some hard times, but always is optimistic. Wen i was six i went to live with my dad, she was heartbroken. I was six and to this day i can still remember her face the day i left. I had never seen my mom cry so these tears brought out a whole new emotion in me. After years of bickering with my dad my mom gave me the confidence to tell him i wanted to live with her. In the beginning of seventh grade i made the transition. Her and I definitely had our spat, but we always got over them. She was my rock and my backbone in times of need. My mom's everyday life consists of work, cooking, and our T.V. time together. Me and my mom are very dedicated to our faith as well. She and I go to church every Sunday, and do numerous things. We help with partnership class, we are greeters, and we help do dishes in the kitchen. My mom does so much, and yet asks for so little in return. She is one of the funniest and mos personable people i know. She could make any situation a positive one. We are really close, and love doing things together. She likes to relax by shopping, getting pedicures and manicures, or going to the beach. My mom has always encouraged me and my brother to be all we can be in life. I'm a Sophomore in high school, and my mom is helping me prepare for college and for the outside world. My mom works so hard an definitely deserves some pampering. I have researched all of your deluxe packages, and have decided on the top three choices. If by some miracle I win these choices are the things I know my mom would love: the Really Spoiled Mom Package, the Gregorie's Great Escape, or the Ancient Royal Bathing Ritual. My mom deserves so much so please let my mom have what she truly deserves. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity. :)

Mom's name: Linda Over
Momination: She constantly gives to everyone else and never asks for anything in return. She often gives up or cancels her own plans to be there for other people. She has always been there for my family and I, especially during hard times (and good). Her parents (my Grandparents) are at the age now where they can no longer take care of themselves. She drives an hour and a half away from her home to be with them many days a week, every week, to take care of them. There have been many trips to the hospital for her parents, which she is always there to take them. She is a terrific Mom and deserves many praises and a special gift for herself!

Mom's name: Nancy S. Dodson
Momination: She has been through alot of changes with me moving out, to new roomates, and going back to school to get her Special Education Teaching Credential. Her focus is on others and she loves me and my sister, Kelly(27) dearly. A day at Spa Gregorie is just what she needs to re-connect with her feminity. I and my sister get to go from time to time due to our employers gift certificates. Thank-you for any considerations!

Mom's name: Cynthia Dutch
Momination: My mom has been there for us throughout it all. She went to college while raising two boys and still found time to spend with us. She sought to make a better life for us and have a good well paying job to support her kids and give us all the things she didn't have when she was growing up. She had two more boys after she finished school making for a total of four of us and still kept striving to do better for us and has given us so much. She has been caring, understanding, affectionate and nurturing. She was there when we got into trouble and when we needed help with things like homework or just to help us with fundraisers by taking our chocolates and gift booklets to work with her. She made cakes for our birthdays and invited all our friends, she took us to school in the mornings before she rushed off to work and she got us off to bed. She made sure that we all got good educations and we all did fairly well in school. She even helped to pay for my college education and get the loans I needed to finish it through. We have had some bad times like when my dad left us at a young age, but she stayed with us. We have been through loss and death together, like in August 2006 when she was driving to Arizona one weekend with my two youngest brothers Alex (16) and Chandler (14) and the older of my three little brothers fiance Joslynn in the truck. (ages at the time of the accident.) There was an accident on the highway around a bend in the road. A city worker had parked his truck on the highway instead of in an emergency lane and there wasn't proper markings to warn motorists that his vehicle was parked in the lane. I almost lost her and my siblings that day. She and my two youngest brothers were airlifted to the hospital with severe injuries and I lost a sister in-law instantly in that crash. My mom and my brother James (22), who was ingaged to Joslynn, we're in so much pain for that loss. My mom stayed strong and kept us together as we morned our losses. I stayed with her and my brothers in that hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. I never want to see them in that condition again. I love my mom and my fanily and I hope that she will be with us for a long time to come. I think she deserves a soothing and relaxing weekend away from her job and the stress it creates for mothers day. My mom does corporate tax for a morgage banking company and works all week in a tiny cubicle hunched over infront of her computer and even over-time while she is at home to get things done by a deadline. She and I do go to the Gym when we find time during the week and she tries to get out to Arizona to visit her parents, our grandparents on weekends whenever she can, just to get away from the traffic and stressful environment. We have a home that she worked to have built so that someday soon she will have a place to retire to and give all of her kids and maybe someday grand kids a place to call home. I think she would enjoy the Ancient Royal Bathing Ritual the most. My mom loves candles and especially sweet smelling candles. Her favorite is lavender. She needs a peaceful getaway and to just be pampered and looked after while she takes in the good fragrent aromas.

Mom's name: Connie Swentek
Momination: Connie is not only a marvelous mom to her own children...she has helped many other moms be their best. Connie is a certified nurse midwife with Kaiser Permanente (15 years now) and has provided beautiful births for thousands of mothers.

Mom's name: Leslie Ward
Momination: My Mom is so deserving of this reward on Mothers Day. She is a single mom that always put me first. We lived with my grandparents after my parents divorced (I was very young)and by the time we would have been able to strike out on our own, my grandparents needed assistance. My mom stopped working to assist them so they would not have to move out of their home. We took care of them with the assistance of Hospice so they were able to pass away at home, in peace. Since that time, my husband and I have lost a baby and in the process I was VERY ill and in and out of the hospital. Through it all, she was there every step of the way supporting us and loving me unconditionally. We are now in the throwes of adoption and still, she is behind us 100%. Even though I am her only child and therefore her only source of grandchildren she is there, going to info meetings, doing research, giving her input and support. I don't think I could possibly put in to words how much she means to me and how much I appreciate her every day. I love her so much and this spa package would allow me to show her just a little sliver of how important she is to me. I am sure she would love any pampering, but I do know she has not had a stone massage, so that would definitely need to be included. Thank you for taking the time to consider this nomination.

Mom's name: Tiffany Vaughan
Momination: Dear Spa Gregories: My name is Zach, and I want to nominate my Mom for a special Mother's Day package because she really deserves it. Last year, my Mom took time off of her job to take care of me after an accident I got into for four months. She ended up losing her job and she had to start over again. Then her fiance broke-up with her and she was very sad for a long time. I know she is on disability for seizures and thyroid problems because of stress. She used to go get her hair done at the place in Newport, but she can't afford it anymore. I would like to give my Mom a new make-over to make her feel better. She used to have fake nails, and she won't do that anymore. I know she saves money to help me get my haircut at Legends, and she's down to coloring her own hair now, and it doesn't look good like it used to. I love my Mom. She's always there for me and for my football program at Tesoro High School, even though she got sick and lost weight, she is always there for me and is part of the Boosters for the football team. Please give my nomination consideration. My Mom deserves the best, it breaks my heart to see her on such a tight budget. She is a great single- Mom, and she's had a rough year. I know she likes to get her hair done, and I would like to help her with that this Mother's Day. She and my Dad have been divorced for awhile, so he doesn't help me much in acknowledging her every year on this day. I'm only a freshman, so I don't have a job yet, or I would send her myself. Well, I guess that's it. For a single Mom, I think she deserves something special. Please consider her for a Mother's Day gift. Thanks, Zach

Mom's name: Rebecca Indvik
Momination: I believe that my mom should be nominated for a spa treatment because, she is a mother of two and has been there for us throughout ever dream and pursuit we wanted to indulge in. Taking intrest in adopting when my parents had a difficulty of getting preagnet God led them to me. I will never forget the timeless story of when she told me the first time she laid eyes on me and how right when i looked at her the second i was born i had stopped crying because i recognized her voice and knew she was my mom. She has been the queen in my life and her support for me is endless. im not going to say our relationship is perfect since im a teenager i do act out of my boundry lines but theres nothing better than to sit on the couch with her and watch disney movies telling her how sorry i am for hurting her, how much i love her, care for her, and how she makes me the happiest person alive just to hear her say that she forgives me. when i was 14 i almost lost her when the doctors found out she had a blood clot. It had traveled up her leg and through her heart. All the docotrs were amazed that she didnt die and all i could think about is how horrible my life would be without her in it. But her meraculous recovery brought her home on the day of my birthday and i had never been so grateful for the best birthday present ive EVER gotten. She spoils me in so many ways and i would love to give back to her as much as she gives for me. her heart is endless with love and my appreciation for her grows stronger and stronger everyday. As her job she works as an aid for special education children, she has always been the type of woman to put someone in front of her first. Since the school she works at is just down the street from us she walks there everyday. When im on my way home from school, I pick her up from her school, i love to watch her put those children on the bus and them holding her and waving with big smiles knowing that they cant wait to see her tomorrow, makes me so honored to know that this phenominal woman is the best woman i have ever met in my life. Everyday with her makes me realize that she is the wisest and greatest person in my life. She completes me. She is the most involved person in my life and not just my mother, but my best friend. A person who i can come to for anything and im so happy that she loves me and i love her, because she completes my world. thats why i believe that my mom deserves this spa treatment beacuse mother's day is all about her.

Mom's name: Elaina Falcone
Momination: My mother is so awesome. I didn't realize until after going through my teenage years and finally going up myself. I always wondered why she was so firm all the time. Well, I am a teacher now and I use her firm strategies with my class. It is strange how being firm gains respect and not caring gains disrespect. I see now how much my mom really cares. My mom has always been there for me and my two other sisters. Making mistakes in my life, I always could turn to my mother. We like best friends now and it is wonderful. It is true: be a parent first and then a friend. It does work. Not only is my mother a great mother, be she is a wonderful daughter; she cares for her mother at the age of 91 and for her father-in-law of 88 years. She is also a great wife of 37 years....if only everyone could be so lucky. She is also admired and accomplished at her job as assistant to principal at an elementary school. And if that all wasn't enough, she spends time on running a union, developing insurance committee, and assissting the homeless. This is why my mom is the greatest.......and I love her so much.

Mom's name: Melissa
Momination: My mom deserves a spa day! She is very special. She’s hard working, she is a leader and she takes care of her family. My Mom is also very adventurous. My Mom is loving, caring, and kind. She is loving because she tucks me in every night. She is caring because she can deal with almost any problem. She is kind because she gives me lots of privileges. For example, she lets me watch TV once my homework is done. My Mom is very special! My mom works hard taking care of her family. She has four kids and a loving husband. She drives us around to good sports and kids events almost every day. My Mom is at home every day when we get home from school and I’m very hot. She makes sure we are all happy all the time. My Mom is smart and she works almost every night. She schedules trips, keep the family organized, and helps with my Dad’s work. She works at home so she can be home for us. My Mom can fix my school projects because she knows alignment on computers. My Mom teaches how to relax on trips and have fun at the same time. She loves to travel and always takes us to new places. We have learned to stay together in airports and public places, snorkel, snowboard and how to pack lightly. I love going on journeys to different wonderful places. The journeys can be far or near, but I still love to go. We would like to celebrate the fact that she is still with us today. When we were little she fought against and survived really bad breast cancer. Last year she did lost of love. Therefore, I think my Mom deserves a spa day on Mother’s day. She is great and has great abilities. I love her and want her to get something special. My Mom is DYNAMITE!!!

Mom's name: Kelly Conerty
Momination: My mom should be the winner of the Spa Gregorie’s Contest because she is the hardest working mom in Orange County. I’m 14 and I play club basketball, and my little brothers also play time-consuming sports. My mom Kelly is always driving us from one place to another, picking us up, and driving our friends. Ferrying us around is almost like her second job. Almost every day for the last few years, she’s been driving me to football, basketball, and volleyball, and my brothers to baseball, basketball, and soccer, and I don’t think we have ever been late. She supports us in everything we do, and never gets a chance to take a break. Taking us to school is the same story. We’re always on time when she takes us, and she will do anything she can to get us where we need to go. She’s always there to push us to do are best in school, during our best times and our worst. She puts our school studies above any thing else, and helps us whenever we need her. Our wonderful mom is also the peacekeeper at home. There are three of us boys, ages 14, 6, and 3, and she does a fantastic job of keeping us from tearing each other apart. She keeps us separated so we can get our homework done, and she always brings us together for dinner. Even now, when going through a divorce, my mom is a Super mom, and she should be the winner of the Spa Gregorie's Contest.

Mom's name: Claudia Martin - Hill
Momination: My mom should be nominated for this special package because she deservers to have time alone and to relax. My mom works 24/7 and never gets to relax. she has 3 daughters me (age 10) my little sister chanse (age7) and last but not least my older sister farrell (age 19). I can tell that she loves being our mom ,but then again she would like to relax for a little while. she is a artitect and she works really hard to take care of us . she sometimes stays at work until 8 to get over-time, but i know that it must be really hard to be such a super mom. i like calling her super women because i don't know how she does she does everything it's like she has super powers. i think my mom would enjoy just having a day to relax. i tink she she would like to have a masauge a facial and maybe even something new. whatever works because she never gets to do these things. my mom is a outing going and fun person. she always wants to be outdoors, and when it's great weather the first thing on her mind is to go outside and play with us. my older sister moved out last year so it's just me and chanse that makes her job one step easier. my mom always helps me and chanse on homework and reports. even when she dosen't get something we take it step by step until we fianlly get it. my mom has lots of perserverence and endurance and she never gives up she is one of those people who like to finish what they have started. my mom has gone through hard times so have me and chanse. when there are times when she needs someone to help her out in what ever she's going through me and chanse are there by her side. my mom is the best mom in the whole entire world ,and i wouldn't trade her for anything in th world.

Mom's name: Young Kim
Momination: I believe that the “Mom”ination Award should be given to the best mom ever: my mom. She really is the best in the world. She is so incredibly patient, generous, and caring. She always puts other first, and selfless gives herself wholeheartedly to anyone in need. My mom immigrated to America seventeen years ago, leaving her whole life behind except for her husband and three children who were one, three, and seven at the time. As a mother of three, she amazingly organizes each day to make sure to accomplish her errands, spend time with her kids, and adds a little extra oomph to brighten everyone’s day. As a teenage girl with no other sisters to turn to, my mother has become my closest friend. As a result, we have formed a lasting relationship that nothing could tear apart. My mom always wants the best for me, and allows me to pursue what I want to do, even if it might be an inconvenience for her. My mom has never received a professional massage or any form of relaxing treatment, and I think that this is the best opportunity for her. I really believe that she deserves to be treated like royalty, so I hope that she will get the opportunity to. Even though my mom would appreciate any treatment from Spa Gregorie, I think that she would enjoy the Epicuren Hydraquench Facial the most. She takes pride in taking care of her face, and I think that this would make her feel wonderful.

Mom's name: Cathie Tyler
Momination: This wonderful woman takes care of my (3) children (all, within three years of each other); making certain my house is EXTREMELY clean (EVERY day, when I get home from work). She also makes certain all (3) stay on top of their school work (all 3 are honor roll ~ as a result of her efforts with their homework & studying). In addition, I have a HOT, HOME-COOKED meal EVERY evening (which we share with our children). This lovely lady just spent a week on Catalina (at the request of our 13-yr. old daughter {her 7th grade class went there); under extremely POOR conditions. This, alone, will hopefully qualify her for this Mom'ination. Three hundred words aren't enough to describe what Cathie does for my children, myself & our family !! To save she deserves this 'pampering' would be an extreme UNDERSTATEMENT. Thank you for your consideration !!

Mom's name: Ilka Stearman
Momination: Mom's been through a lot over the last 7 years. My Dad was diagnosed with both dementia and Parkinson's Disease in late 2002. Until 2006 she was helping with his in-home care-giving until it became necessary to transfer him to a home for the frail elderly. My Dad's sons (my stepbrothers) called all the shots and decided where he would be placed forcing Mom to, at 82-83, drive approximately 80 miles each time in order to visit with my Dad. We lost him on February 12 this year, and Mom is now 84 and trying to adjust to it while still being Mom to her 3 daughters -- never has waivered. We had plans to treat her to a day of pampering for her 83rd birthday (massage, manicure/pedicure, facial), however, my sister fell that very day and broke her kneecap, requiring 2 surgeries and months of care. Mom came to the rescue again and, instead of being pampered, provided the bulk of 24-hour care my sister needed to mend during those months. This year, on Mom's birthday, it was quiet because my Dad's loss was very new so "celebrating" wasn't in the cards. It would be wonderful for her to finally be on the receiving end of some special care and pampering even for a few hours. Thank you.

Mom's name: Amy Vuong
Momination: She had the most beautiful hair. But when I was fifteen, I realized that my mother was fighting to survive. She had Hepatitis C. My mother struggled following her agonizing divorce with suicidal thoughts, yet with strength and irrefutable love. Since my parents’ divorce, she had acted as father, mother, chauffeur, Superwoman and everything in between, to both my brother and me. I saw her now, not as the all-encompassing hero of my childhood, but as a human mother, subject to the uncontrollable caprice of Hepatitis C. To watch this person I held on a pedestal for a lifetime fall, made me realize that I had been grasping at an empty ideal, a fragile, ailing woman, unable to even take pleasure in the comforts of life. I couldn’t reconcile my childhood Superwoman with the woman I now saw. She began to lose her hair. I saw piles of it littering the ground. I resented her and we constantly fought. I could not bear to realize what my mother had become. But through my mother’s yearlong treatment, to witness the struggle and rebellion in her fight against Hepatitis C, I came to see how truly strong my mother was. By fighting it and enduring the suffering to live another day with her family, my mother taught me to relate maturely to adversity, no matter the nature of the challenge .Throughout her struggle with this disease, my mother may have faltered, but in her vulnerability, showed me that humanity and emotion did not equate weakness. It is how you handle such qualities that define maturity. My mother substantiated an innate will and resolve that I have tried to emulate. Her struggle with Hepatitis C became a model for my own struggle to improve myself. Despite the challenge, I continue unshaken, knowing that the truest test of my ability is my determination to live bravely like my mother. She had the most beautiful hair. I no longer mourn its loss or the loss of my childhood Super Mom, but relish the strength behind the woman. She gave me an emotion. It was stronger than the strongest medicine or the most vicious disease. Strong enough to be called hope.

Mom's name: Naila
Momination: My mom deserves to be the winner because she has been very sick and stressed out lately. She is a nice and caring person. I love my mom. She deserves the best!

Mom's name: Louise
Momination: She is a 62 year old woman that is a principal of a school for kids who cant read. Everyday she wakes up and is excited about helping unprivlaged children. She does so many great things and is always there for me! I love her so much and she deserves the absolute best!!! I think that my grandma could use this kind off relaxation with her stressfull life. She has a very stressfull life but she deals with it great and has a positive mind!

Mom's name: Marina
Momination: My mom is the most amazing woman on the entire planet. She takes care of our family, and is always there for us. She tries her best to make sure we are satisfied and everything is well. She works so hard, and I know she just needs that break. My mom goes through so much every day. She wakes up in the morning in deep pain, with every one of her joints, ligaments, and muscles aching. It is so hard to see her go through what she does. I just can't imagine not being able to move my body freely and being restricted from doing activities or just getting up. What my mom has is a disease called Fibromyalgia, which is caused by stress and causes your body to be in severe pain and aching. My mom needs constant vitamins and specially formulated juices to try to reduce the pain even a little bit. But most of the time, it doesn't even work. She suffers throughout the day, and it seems like there is no cure available. I think that my mom deserves a little relaxation and treatment time to help her cope with the pain. I think the treatment best for her would be the Lymphatic Drainage Massage because it would decrease the pain she feels and reduce the symptoms of Fibromyalgia. If she could get this treatment, it would not only soothe her body from aches and pains, but it would help relax her mind from all of the incredible things she does for my family and her busy lifestyle. My mom is the definition of the best mother around and she would be so happy that there is this treatment that could help her feel better. On this Mother’s Day, I will do whatever I can to make sure my mom doesn’t suffer pain, and that she gets her well deserved break.

Mom's name: June Brede
Momination: My mom is a wonderful caring person who does for everybody else. She doesn't take much time for herself. I recently had a baby and realize how much time & effort goes into raising one child. She had three. We lost our father around 6 years ago and she has welcomed now grandchildren into the picture on her own. She worries about finances and is being effected by all of the cuts in education for next year. She watches every dime all the time and I would love for her to have a day to herself where she is not worrying about whether she can afford it. She would never do this for herself. It would be a well deserved surprise. She works currently as a health clerk and takes care of other peoples children. She has taken care of us and now her grandchildren. She takes care of all the teachers at her work. It is time that someone takes care of her. Even if it's just for the day!
