Mara Dickson specializes in results oriented skincare treatments. Whether a client’s skin needs rejuvenation due to environmental damage, or they just want to maintain a healthy glow, Mara loves to see the finished results and the improvements after treatments.  With 30 years of experience, Mara is also especially skilled in eyebrow shaping and other waxing services, including Brazilian waxing.

Mara loves performing every facial that Spa G has to offer, and she especially loves the Epicuren and Arcona enzyme treatments, exclaiming, “You’ll leave with beautiful, glowing skin.”

Sarah Bakman - Spa Gregorie’s Esthetician
Sarah has been an esthetician for 20 years and has worked at Spa Gregorie’s Newport Beach since it opened in 1998. She originally trained as an esthetician in London, and before moving to California, she worked at spas in London, South of France, and New York. Since joining the Spa Gregorie’s family, she has constantly undergone product knowledge training for skincare and keeps up on the latest ingredients in skincare lines such as: Epicuren, Arcona, and B.Kamins.

Shannon Taylor - Spa Gregorie’s Dual Therapist
Shannon Taylor has been pampering clients for twenty years, ten of which have been with Spa Gregorie’s.  Along with being a dual therapist (a massage therapist and an esthetician), Shannon is also the Technical Director and oversees the hiring of all other spa technicians. She loves being part of the management team because she gets to see all aspects of the spa world.

She also loves working with her clients.  As a dual therapist, she has the opportunity to  provide both relaxing massages and luxurious facials, her favorite treatment being the Fassage, a combination of massage and facial. When she’s not fassaging, she’s giving her clients beautiful brows and smooth skin.

Sophia Parmenter - Spa Gregorie’s Esthetician
Sophia Parmenter has been an esthetician for 7 years, all 7 at Spa G and “would never think of being anywhere else.” She is Head of Education at Spa G. and has been a Spa Educator for Epicuren Skin Care for 4 years.

Being born and raised in Hawaii, she has a sense of aloha, calmness and tranquility that
comes through in her treatments.  Her strengths are her wealth of knowledge with Epicuren and her knowledge of skin care ingredients.  She has extensive massage training so her facials are very relaxing.

Sophie’s passion is that she loves what she does and especially “when I see my clients’ skin improve, and continue to send them home with the most result-oriented home care system.” Sophie played a major role in helping us launch our new Signature Line and says… “This is a very exciting new year with the launching of the Signature Line. Aubrey Richardson specializes in Marcia Keratin Treatments, is Milbon Certified in Liscio Japanese Hair Straightening, as well as Organic Color System Certified. This Coto de Caza native was a stylist in Washington D.C’s Capital building at the Tides Salon, but has returned to her hometown in Orange County equipped with the latest styles and trends. Outside of the salon and her passion for doing hair, Aubrey is also fluent in American Sign Language, enjoys hiking with her dog and is excited to be back on the West Coast.

Brad has over 11 years of experience as an esthetician and a background in Advanced Massage and Facial Protocols from International Dermal Institute and Aveda Advanced Workshops. He has advanced product knowledge in Epicuren and facial protocols and is a great resource if you need help choosing product.

Brad entered this field to help people achieve healthy, radiant skin. He is originally from Yorba Linda, CA and loves music, singing, cooking, working out and any activity on the beach.

Courtney Bullard – Spa Gregorie’s Dual Therapist

Courtney received her B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Science from CSUF.  During her studies, she was a Biofeedback technician, teaching energy and stress-management, and using relaxation techniques such as: guided imagery, progressive muscle relaxation, meditation, and autogenics.  She is also nationally certified as a massage therapist through NCBTMB.

Courtney has been with Spa G since early 2003, working in Newport Beach and Rancho Santa Margarita, and is excited to announce that she is now a dual therapist who offers both massage and facial esthetics.  Her favorite treatments include: the Ultimate Shrink Wrap, the Fassage, and the Epicuren Facial. Licensed since 1994, Colleen has spent her years as a stylist working and training with some of the best including Rusk, Redken, L’Oreal, and Aveda. She even spent a few years as a barber and loves to cut and style men’s hair. Colleen joins Spa Gregorie’s team eager to bring her knowledge to new clients. Knowing that communication is key, Colleen welcomes clients to book consultations to ensure that together they can create a look that makes the client look and feel fabulous.
Originally from New York, Colleen is able to provide clients with looks that range from edgy to sophisticated. Her abilities are limitless. Kim graduated from the University of Idaho with a B.S. in Psychology. While there, she balanced her studies with a soccer scholarship and found a passion for the way the human body works. With a thirst for more knowledge about the human body, she decided to expand her studies from the human mind to the physical body and became a nationally certified massage therapist through NCBTMB.

Kim’s loves to treat clients to relaxation massages with a mix of Swedish and deep tissue techniques.  She also loves to perform foot reflexology because of the amazing effects it can have on the body. Her favorite part of her job is the ability to help improve the quality of her client’s lives through her therapeutic massage techniques.

A native San Diegan, Lorenzo Torres has been working as a massage therapist and cosmetologist for over 30 years, earning certificates from the San Diego Barber College, Deloux Schools of Cosmetology, and Mueller College of Holisitc Studies. Lorenzo began working at Spa Gregorie’s in Del Mar when the spa first opened in 2009. He loves how his skills as a massage therapist and barber complement each other, so both skills work different muscles and allow Lorenzo to offer guests a wide range of services. His favorite part of his job is interacting with the guests and helping them feel their best. Lorenzo is currently licensed in the State of California as a cosmetologist, barber and massage therapist, and he is trained in oncology massage.
